This book leaves me speechless. It touched me on so many levels I don’t even know where to begin. I love ALL of Lynn Austin’s books and right now I believe this is her best.This novel about the courageous people of The Netherlands and how they fought for the Jews and for their country’s freedom is inspiring. I cried, I felt joy, I felt anger, I found forgiveness. I saw how those people went through horrors yet still hung on to their faith and hope for freedom. This is a part of history that should never be forgotten.
